Not far from Mt Rainier is one of the absolute best hikes in the Pacific Northwest - it's called High Rock Lookout and we had a chance to drop by it recently... The transition from fall to winter had just begun and we got a few inches of fresh white snow! The total hike was about 3.5 miles round trip with some serious elevation gain!
